Dear Parents and well-wishers,

I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to all the members of Happy Child Model School  family. It is a source of great pride and bliss to be at the helm of this progressive school as Head of School.

Today the role of a School is not only to pursue academic excellence but to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever changing global society. I intend to inculcate best practices in teaching with a holistic structure of scholastic and co-scholastic skills, to build a cheerful environment and upbringing, where both students and faculty are encouraged to explore and experiment in learning. 

 It is often said that it is the journey rather than the destination that matters and the same goes for the school’s incredible evolution since inception. In this journey we continue our ascent towards success by creating more opportunities for our children today, tomorrow and forever. we continue to equip our children with the values and attitudes to confidently face the challenges of our present world. We teach them to be sensitive, empathetic, secular and tolerant.

Today when I sit back and write this , It goes without saying that the sojourn and the satisfying accomplishment is due to the blessings of that supreme, omnipotent and omnipresent power in front of whom we all bow our heads; the good wishes of our elders and sustained efforts of this large HCMS faculty, many of whom may not be associated directly , but in their own times they proved to be the pillars of this institution on which the school stands today – firm in its conviction to bring forth the best of latent talent. I envisage a new generation - techno savy, smart, confident having a broad spectrum ready to embark on a journey which is rich in values, culturally flourishing and idealistic – always striving for simplicity conjoined with high thinking.

Last but not the least , I believe that :

“A child is not a vessel to be filled, but a lamp to be lighted . ”
